Trove Tuesday – Conrad von Hagen

People who have registered with Trove have the ability to tag articles with relevant keywords or to create lists of articles on a particular topic. This makes it easy to return to the list and access the articles. These lists can be found via a Trove search.

Whenever your blogger comes across an article that mentions persons from the Hornsby Shire she adds it to a list named Hornsby People. Perhaps one day we can organise a group to index these articles.

While searching for something to share with you today  I came across a list created by someone unknown to me. The list is named Hagen Family. It contains over 20 articles some of which refer to Conrad von Hagen who lived in William Street, Hornsby. You can access the list here http://trove.nla.gov.au/list?id=25577.

Another list with a local flavour is titled Hornsby Train murder. You can access that one here: http://trove.nla.gov.au/list?id=41555.

If you would like to know how to tag articles or create lists Jill would be happy to show you at our next informal meeting on January 25 at 10:00am.
