The friendship between Commonwealth troops is illustrated in this picture of Private Norman Dunlop of Hornsby, NSW, a member of B Company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), returning from a patrol, stopping for a chat with Trooper D. (Spud) Thomson of Dundee, Scotland, a member of the Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, who is perched on the 20 pounder gun barrel of a Centurion Tank.
